BIO

Born and raised in the frozen tundra of Minnesota, Adam Momsen has been a performer, artist, and world-builder all his life. As a child he would spend hours crafting his own fantastic nations and universes, and would cut his teeth in entertaining as a musician and actor in high school. The son of engineers, Adam has constantly been surrounded by computers and technology and looks to combine the practical and the fantastical in his work.

After a stint as a professional software engineer, Adam went on to earn his MFA in Computer Art at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Since then he has been an active part of the animation community through both technical assistance and working as an animator on award-winning independent films. He's served as a college instructor, teaching courses in 2D and 3D animation at CUNY - Queens College and Pratt Institute in Brooklyn.

Most recently Adam has returned to Minnesota to be near family, and spends most of his off-time chasing an adventurous preschooler around the house. He currently works as an animator in the Saint Paul area.
